Nothing but issues....

We bought this fridge about 3 years ago. I was tricked by the way it looked. I love the look, love the extra drawers, thought Kitchenaid was a great brand, and loved the fact that it was made in the USA. And here's where the big but comes in, it's been nothing but problems. When we first got it, it worked great, it didn't start to have issues until about 2 years in (you know once the warranty is up and you are screwed). You shouldn't ever have issues with an appliance 2 years in, fridges and large appliances used to last 15-20 years, even 10 years would be better than 2! Especially when you pay $4000 for the fridge, I expect a little more.
It started by making a really loud sound, sounded like the compressor or fan working over time, this was last December. Then it started posted a warning PO on the front board and beeping every 5-20 minutes, which was slowly driving everyone insane and scared our dog. We had to unplug the fridge for everyone's sanity, buy a mini fridge, and wait 3 weeks for someone to come out. I tried to go through another company, but if they aren't Kitchenaid certified they can't order the parts under warranty etc. The technician came out, plugged in the fridge, opened the fridge door, looked inside and that's all he did. He also read things from the manual, like I didn't try that. So we paid $100 for someone to come out and open the door to the fridge and tell us maybe it was the control panel, maybe not. So am I supposed to waste my money on maybe it is, maybe it isn't situation?! I was so irritated by the situation that I didn't call the company they sent out and complain and as it turns out I should have. The technician wrote in his notes that we definitely needed a new control panel, even though when he talked to me he seemed very unsure, barely looked at the fridge and didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. Although after being unplugged for about 3 weeks it did stop the PO warning and the beeping, so we thought maybe it was a weird fluke. I bought a thermometer for the fridge and we left it at that. Which by the way, the fridge never cools properly to the temperature you set it at.
Fast forward to April/May of this year and now it's make new noises (the compressor fan sound and a weird tick/tock sound), turns off on it's own without me knowing, and we have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it started again. I called Kitchenaid to make a new appointment, but they want to do it with the same company and I feel like I got ripped off last time. So I asked Kitchenaid to pay the $100 fee for the company to come out since last time they didn't do much of anything, Kitchenaid says they can't do that, which I don't buy because you can do anything in customer service really, I worked it for years. Kitchenaid says I have to call the company and ask them. I did that and they say that they can't waive the fee because it's been too long, that was their top technician, etc. I asked to speak to a manager who is conveniently never in and also doesn't return my messages I left either (I called 3 times for a manager and left messages). Neither Kitchenaid or Aeries Home Appliance has been good to me customer service wise. Now I"m not sure what to do because I don't want to deal with Kitchenaid, Aeries, and I don't think I should have to pay for any of this, because it's obviously a known issue with this fridge. I would also like the person who is going to fix the fridge to know something about refrigerators.
Moral of this story folks.... Don't buy this fridge and maybe don't even buy Kitchenaid. I used to love Kitchenaid, but after all of this I don't think I'll be buying another Kitchenaid product. This fridge has caused so much grief and irritation and costs so much money, I don't even know where to go from this point. I want to set it on fire. I think when you pay $4000 for something it should work well and last for a long time.
