The black Samsung Induction Cooktop is sleek, stylish, and the smartest way to cook on the modern market. Frankly I am surprised that more people have not yet converted to conduction - it is really such a great way to cook. I've been interested in conduction cooking for years and am thrilled that I finally took the plunge, and with Samsung's conduction cooktop in particular. This cooktop has many extra features that you won't find in other basic conduction cooktops including a power boost setting for warp speed cooking, digital analog controls, and a flex zone. Samsung is able to support any type of cooking you're trying to do from catering a gourmet multi-course dinner for 20 people to whipping up some mac n' cheese for one. Many people avoid conduction cooking for fear of high costs - people think they'll have to buy all new special cookware but this is not the case. More than half of the pots and pans we already had work perfectly on this cooktop! The prerequisite for your pots/pans/kettles to work during induction cooking is that they must be made of a magnetic-based material, such as cast iron or magnetic stainless steel. Fully clad cookware will also work on induction cooktops because they're magnetic. And Samsung makes conduction affordable with this new cooktop – it's got all the bells and whistles you'd expect in a high-end conduction cooktop for literally half the price. And when I say superior, I mean SUPERIOR. Induction cooking on this Samsung cooktop takes less than half the time - it's remarkable. I timed a kettle on a standard cooktop and on my Samsung induction cooktop simultaneously.....the induction kettle was whistling after 3 minutes while my standard cooktop took a whopping 8 minutes. What a difference - my busy mornings just got easier. And if you're a bit of a klutz like me, induction cooking is by far the safest option for you...the cookware gets hot but not the cooktop. You can literally put your hand on the cooktop immediately after boiling water in a pot and the cooktop is cool to the touch. Honestly, I could go on and on but you really need to see this for yourself. Samsung induction cooking is on the absolute cutting edge of science, technology, and the culinary arts. The Samsung induction cooktop is attractive, well built, and extremely user friendly. It has given my kitchen an incredibly smart modern look and I've already gotten loads of compliments from friends, family, and neighbors.
